Filologia e società. Da Erasmo ai giorni nostri

Class of Greek and Latin Studies – Dies Academicus 2019

On Thursday 21 and Friday February 22 2019, the Greek and Latin Studies Class of the Ambrosian Academy organizes the VII Dies Academicus, entitled Filologia e società. Da Erasmo ai giorni nostri, as a chronological continuation of the Dies of 2018, which took into consideration the period Dalle origini all’Umanesimo.

The topic will be treated in such a way as to illustrate episodes that involve historical personalities and social, cultural and political spheres, not just literary texts: i.e. philology in its repercussions and connections with the historical context.
