THE FRESCOES OF THE CRYPT OF SAN SEPOLCRO #2

Even the vaults have been brought back to their original beauty and returned in the truly unique light that allowed to see the contrast with these floral decorations or stars. What era does all this date back to? The era is that of the XIII-XIV century and the star decoration is evidently a further reference to the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. In addition to this decoration, an angel also appeared, an “Angel of the Resurrection” we can say, because we must not forget that the reference to the Sepulcher of Jerusalem is above all to the fact of the Resurrection of Jesus.
