The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, on the occasion of the public opening of the newly restored Cartoon for the School of Athens on March 27, presents a new multimedia guide* that will help visitors enrich the viewing experience by providing new content and in-depth information on 52 artworks housed in the Museum.
The guide is currently available in 2 languages, Italian and English, and suggests three tour options based on the time available to each: if you have less than an hour, an hour and more than an hour.
Each tour collects a number of works that are congruent with the time available, presenting a brief overview of the proposed works.
In addition to a clear explanation of how the Guide works, each tour also provides indications on how to reach each work with the aid of maps that clearly show the itinerary to follow through the rooms of the museum.
The suggested works are described both with images and with the help of texts, providing an adequate historical and artistic framework both of the author and of the works themselves, also visually highlighting the most significant aspects of the artefacts.
