From September 19 to October 14, the exhibition “Are you in love? No I’m in Milano” by artist Pietro Terzini will be held in the Roman Forum hall of the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana, curated (not) by Antonello Grimaldi and Pietro Terzini. The exhibition will feature both previously unseen and historic works.
“This exhibition is a true journey into the soul of Milan, a city pulsating with life, creativity, and culture. Pietro Terzini, with his unique stylistic signature, invites us to discover a world of works on paper, neon, and mirrors, where words are the absolute protagonists. But not only that: alongside the texts, iconic figurative elements appear, true tributes to Milan and the Ambrosiana (the first library open to the public in Europe and the oldest museum in Milan), including Caravaggio’s Basket of fruit and the Madonnina, which lead us into a profound dialogue between memory and contemporaneity and inevitably to a comparison between present and past, between classical iconography and contemporary pop cultural language.”
